We’ve heard your feedback: when building surveys, users want a way to add images, diagrams, and supporting files. Now you can, right in the survey builder!
Image upload allows the user to upload one or more images from their computer. This feature has a variety of applications- it could be used to see pictures of a farmer’s field, evaluate soil, or even to collect photos for a website.
In the SurveyStack builder you have the option to allow users to submit multiple files. Accepted file types include .gif, .png, .jpg, and .jpeg. After uploading a file, the user can remove or rename the file as necessary. If the user is accessing the survey using a mobile device they can even use the camera to capture and add photos directly.
File upload allows the user to upload one or more files from their computer. If you want to collect a farmer’s soil health management plan, give the option to upload lab results…or something that hasn’t even crossed our mind! Now you can.
Accepted file types include .pdf, .csv, .gif, .png, .jpg, .jpeg, and .txt. The survey creator has the ability to restrict allowed file types and, similar to the image upload question type, can allow users to submit multiple files at once.
How are you using images and files in your surveys? Are there other features on your development wish list? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your feedback, and let us know!.
